I am happy to be accepting new clients into an expanded practice! Welcome to Shana Miller, MA, LMFT-C, and Brittney Bonner, MA, LMFT-C!
We recognize that the decision to come to therapy with a young child can be a difficult one. It is our goal to work with children and their families to identify strengths and utilize these strengths to help them overcome whatever obstacles may be causing problems. When most people walk into our offices for the first time they immediately comment on how welcoming and friendly it is. We're glad! We want children and families to feel very comfortable because only then are we able to work together to achieve the goals we identify.
At Early Childhood Wellness Place, we view early childhood therapy as strengths-based. We not only address serious issues facing children and familes, but we also help children reach their potential proactively, before small issues become big concerns.
Blair has been working with young children and their families in a variety of settings for over 15 years and has helped many families meet their therapeutic goals. She works with two certified therapy dogs: Miss Gadget and Maisy who not only adds to the nurturing environment of the office but also assists in helping clients reach their goals.
Blair has practiced in a variety of settings and has worked with individuals, couples and families. Her specialty is working with young children and their families. As an interactive therapist, her treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients address current life challenges and long-standing issues. With compassion and understanding, she helps individuals find resolution to a wide range of personal concerns and psychological issues.
With an integration of complimentary approaches, she draws from a variety of methodologies and techniques to incorporate what is most helpful for each individual. In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, she offers a highly personalized approach tailored to each of her clients individual needs to help them attain the personal growth they’re striving for. Together with each client, she works to develop strengths and achieve life goals.
Because it can be difficult to find a therapist who is qualified to work with young children, we limit our practice to children aged 12 and under.
