Brittney Bonner is a Marriage and Family Therapist who recently graduated from Regis University. Brittney attended the University of Colorado and graduated with degrees in Psychology and Sociology in 2008. During her undergrad, she worked as an intern with children who had been sexually abused, which sparked her desire to pursue therapy. For over five years, Brittney worked in a residential setting with children ages 6-12 who had emotional and behavioral struggles. While in graduate school, Brittney worked as a therapist in a private practice with young children and their families. This experienced allowed her the opportunity to work with children experiencing a variety of issues; including divorce, anxiety and grief.
Brittney is currently working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She strives to provide children a safe and warm environment in therapy. She believes in the power of play therapy and allowing children the space to express themselves without judgement. Brittney is passionate about supporting children in therapy as they learn to cope and process challenges.
Brittney is originally from the south, but loves Colorado and all it has to offer. She enjoys hiking 14ers and camping. She also enjoys learning about other countries and was fortunate enough to live abroad in Southeast Asia for over a year. Brittney loves to bake and cook (hopefully) delicious food for her family and friends!
